just curious.... finlay in now 13 months and doesn't wait bear on his legs, has anyone else experienced this?? His physio says not to be in a hurry but it seems to me to be something that a lot of kids with DS can do by now........... what do you think?

George doesn't really like to weightbear either. He's nearly 18 months now and will sometimes stand if you hold him up but its only very briefly, he usually just lifts his legs up. His physio doesn't really seem concerned so I'm not too worried at the moment xx
ps, love the photo of Finlay, he looks really cute x

He's so LOVELY!!! Caleb weight bares really well (he's 14 months) and has done for ages but i think he's unusual in this, his little buddy Felix who is 2 and a bit doesn't really stand or hold his own weight up, he crawls like lightening though!! (where Caleb doesn't) I think it depends on what muscle strength is like or/and how flexible joints are. He'll get there in the end - just needs to grow into it.

Hi - Daniel could weight bear well on his legs until he was about 10 months old. He then spent about 4 months or so trying to crawl so it seemed all his effort went on that and he forgot how to stand! He used to put his legs up too. He can now stand, (with support) but isnt trying to move his legs or walk. They are all different!! xx
