Hi Nikki
I was told that cutting out dairy could make a difference to glue ear too, Harrison has a mainly dairy free diet now. It has definitely reduced his snottiness, but he still has glue ear. Having said that he was soooo snotty when he was younger, so I think cutting out dairy can probably reduce glue ear for some kiddies, so it may be worth a go. I started by just changing from cows milk to soya milk and I saw a big difference from that small change.
If Georgia has been poorly then her hearing may be better once she is well and they do the tests again. If they think the glue ear is still a problem they will probably have a look at doing grommets, the tubes in her ears might be too small at the mo, that's what happened with Harrison. But then again they might not as some of the children on this site have had grommets. Its good that they're going to test her hearing again fairly soon, let us know how it goes. xx
