Hi everyone,
Just thought I'd let you know how things went this week. It was Chest Xray on Tuesday, which I don't have any results from as these have gone to the Pediatrician. Jasmine was a cheeky little monkey though, she didn't want to have her legs covered with the shield so every time the nurses stood clear to press the button she kicked it off and I could swear she was laughing in her own little way. She then visited the ward and had some feeding tubes passed up her nostrils to check they are fully opened (due to her snuffling), she was so good bless her, just sneezed when they pulled them out.
Today we saw the Heart Man at Alder Hey. Thankfully it was good news. She does have a slight murmur but her cardiograph was fine. A small hole is still open which showed up on the scan but this is likely to close of it's own accord or as a last resort, they may help to close it when she is 3 or 4 using micro-surgery. I just have to take her for 6 monthly check ups to see whether it is healing and make sure it doesn't get any bigger. Despite me having to undress and dress her 3 times which she doesn't usually appreciate, she was a little angel. Awwwww.
Just the phys now on Monday which I'm sure will be fine as she is so amazingly strong and determined. I put her on her front and at 8 weeks she can move backwards a good ruler length.
Anyhow, it's all really positive at the moment and I'm really chuffed. Thanks for all the good luck messages.
Lucy x

Hi Lucy, sounds like you've had a busy week! Glad to hear Jasmines doing so well though. That's brilliant that she's so strong on her front already, the twins are nearly 5 months now and when i put them on their fronts Corbie just lays there and sucks his thumb and starts to go to sleep and Lucas just rubs his face in the floor! I'm sure Brodie was much more active at that age than they are! lol Anyway hope Jasmine keps up the good work and things stay positive for you x x
