I would be careful what they give you. Some of the side effects can be worse than the reflux. has she had the barium meal test yet?
We watch Cameron's diet very carefully to keep his reflux at a minimum. He gets liquid gaviscon supposed to be 3-4 times a day but we only give it once a day. Right now i'm swigging it!!
We have tried and tested all milk (goats, lactosefree, soya etc) milk is no friend of reflux, neither is mayo, weetabix, rice crispies, ice cream, apples, oranges, bananas Our list goes on and on, however we do give some things in small quantities and 5ml of gaviscon afterwards to seal it in!
Good luck
PS I know how you're feeling, this pregnancy malarlky is tuff work!

on seeing the consultant they have decided to take her off the gaviscon and start her on ranitidine 2.1mls x2 daily they are also going to do a barium swallow test so waiting for that appointment as anyone's lo had this done? wondering how ill get her to drink it, she don't like drinking at the best of times, they got concerns about her height and weight but want to look at her reflux first. Lizzy: most of the things you mentioned have the same affect with Charli, funny how its always the things that the diatician wants her to eat lol, to be honest she does it after most things,. Debs: sometimes i feel its gone really slow then i think its gone really fast, i now think its dragging lol, getting so uncomfortable and i so much want a vaginal delivery! why? lol

At least they are trying to sort the reflux out. Everyone seems to go on about our lo weight and height. Gemma is still really little but she eats well. How much does Charli weigh now. Did you have caesarian with Charli? I was lucky enough to have natural deliveries with all mine, and I would do it all again if I had the chance. Hope when the time comes your birth goes well xx

Hi Debs Charli weighs 18lb 3oz, i have athink she looks healthy enough she aint the size of a 21mth old i know but me n mark aint giants lol. Charli was breech until my waters ruptured she ended up transverse so there was NO WAY i could have had her naturally as much as i wanted to, so really hoping it happens this time, But unfortunately she also happens to be breech, they have said there is no way i can have a breech birth so the only other option is to do a ECV (turn the baby) so they gonna see me on tues to see if its safe enough to do it if so they will do it then if not then they will book me for a section for around 38wks

Thats not a bad weight, Gemma still only weighs 23lb. I hope they can turn the baby for you. Swimming is supposed to be good for turning a baby and a friend of mine whose baby was breech was told to go on all fours so her stomach was just hanging underneath her and her baby turned. Maybe just coincidence but its worth a try. However you give birth just think of the gorgeous little girl your gonna have at the end of it. Love and hugs Debbie and Gemma xx

Good luck anyway xxxx

its the not being able to drive for 6 wks that bothers me really, i know its a small price to pay for a little beautiful babe but Charli has so many things that she attends during the wk that its gonna be really difficult to take her plus Mark can only afford to have two wks off so think ill struggle more, but ey either way she got to come and thats that, i know that once im holding her how ever way i get to deliver ill be happy, thanks for that comment though feel a little better about it now x
