Hiya,
Well Cameron is now 10 months old and still a nightmare in bath. He was ok when i got in but then all of a sudden hes not ok again even though i'm in the bath. I've also tried cooler water, but no joy, now he turns and tries to climb up me, screaming in my ear. dh has to wash his hair while I try and wash him as he struggles away. As soon as hes out the bath hes ok and laughs and giggles.
Anybody else experience this?

One of the tricks they do with newborns is to bath them but have something touching their heads. It soothes them and re-creates the feeling in the womb... But Cameron isn't a newborn though...LOL
Try less water. Just so there is just enough to splash in, but not enough to freak him out. And the more he gets used to that then increase it a little at a time.
Or the good old bath them in the sink technique...LOL
Its small and not at all scary, good height for us to keep eye contact and offer plenty of support.

Danny was also terrible to bath it got so bad i hated it to then i got a bath seat very similar to a bouncy seat and he must of been more secure as now he enjoys the bath and I still put him on the seat for the first 5 mins till he gets used to the water then he is fine after that

brandon hated bath time untill i put him in with his sister a couple of times now he's o.k.but it still takes me and his dad to wash his hair.he screams, cry's,try's to climb out, stands up it's a nightmare.the faster we get it done the better if you were outside the bathroom you would think something was really wrong.lol.
