Was just wondering what peoples experiences of taking their kids to the dentist are like? Have made an appointment for Brodie to go in July this year and it'll be his first time. I just can't imagine him letting a dentist anywhere near his mouth as i have enough trouble getting the toothbrush in there to clean them! And if they do get their fingers anywhere near i can see them loosing one or two!!

I started brushing graces gums a few weeks ago and now that she has 2 teeth i am going to take her to see the dentist. He told me to bring her as soon as the first one came through so she gets used to going.
Grace hated getting her gums brushed but now her teeth are through it seems to be a relief when I scrub her little gums I am sure Brodie will come round

i've been taking brandon to our dentist since he was 2 because his teeth were coming through at all angles and all different places.he's 5 now and still has times when he won't open his mouth for the dentist.my dentist just say's we'll try again next time because he don't want to frighten him by forcing him to open up.brandon has sensitivity in his mouth so he dont like brushing and things my speech therapist gave me excercise's to do with him just so he gets used to things in his mouth.hope it goes well for you.
