Very very scary moment this week when Oliver got out the back garden!!!!!!! We thought we were secure, but NO we have no back access and the back fence has spikes on it (to stop cats really) but he got the ladder out from the shed and climbed a 6' fence and dropped into next door about 7' drop then out the back into the field. Not so bad you think? well the farmer was spying the field and at the bottom is a duel carriage way........... He thought it was great, his cousin chased him and caught him and had to pin him down to stop him going any further and wait until Andy got home (only 5 mins) to get him back in the house. The farmer then informed us to wash down as the chemicals are dangerous Great!!! We have now locked up the ladders and have spikes on the side fences as well and I had a large Vodka before bed. Oliver does not seem fazed by any of it, typical.

Oh wow how scarey is that. One of my sons used to be an escape artiste when he was younger , I used to have him on a sort of reins device right up until he was 7ish as he was always running away from me. How old is Oliver? I hope he hasn't suffered any ill effects from the spraying. It certainly shows he has determination & is pretty fearless - mind you that's no comfort to you, hope the large vodka helped.
