charlie's not had the jab but he has had RSV and bronchiolitis it's horrible he was in hospital for days on oxygen and it took along time for him to get over it, we had to cancel his heart surgery as it was scheduled for 4 days after he got it (sorry bout the doom and gloom )

Hiya. Sorry, not been around recently cos we moved house a week ago and have only just had the phone line connected due to bt being rubbish! Still can't get broadband either! grrrr!
Anyway, Thomas had his RSV jab on Monday. He was absolutely fine. No side effects whatsoever. He didn't even cry when they did it! Be warned tho, you may be at the docs some time! They mixed the vaccine and then had to wait 30 mins for it to settle before they could give it. Afterwards we had to wait 30 mins to make sure Thomas had no reactions to the jab. They give usual warnings about side effects eg. temperature, redness and swelling, slight cold etc but Thomas hasn't had anything. Im sure Hols will be fine! XX

Its one that they give to babies high risk for broncholitis. They only give to babies under 6 months unless under other circumstances.
