Hi everyone, I am here to introduce myself again, I ain't exactly "new" but I may as well be, as there are a lot of members now.
I joined the site in Feb 06 when Daniella invited me to, at that time Rebecca was only about 5 months old.
I've been rather neglectful, sometimes when I get the time I sit down and log in, go to post a hello or whatever and then something needs done or someone wants my attention and I kind of stray away again, I won't be offended if no-one remembers me, I didn't post much as I am quite a quiet person and to be perfectly honest, I was still a bit withdrawn about Rebecca's diagnosis ( don't get me wrong I was not ashamed, just didn't want to categorize her iykwim, but being here isn't categorizing her, it's sharing her life with people that are more likely to understand how great reaching milestones are etc iykwim? )
I hope I haven't offended anyone by what I am saying, I really hope I haven't.
I just feel that it would be a good thing to start sharing advice and getting advice from mums that have already been through what I am coming up to. I understand I shouldn't have shy'd away like I did but I now feel I am ready to share my advice and rebecca with everyone if that makes any sense to anyone? ( I know what I am saying but I don't know if I am typing it out the way I am meaning it to sound lol )
Anyway, this thread is about introductions and here I am blabbering on about what I mean etc lol
Well my name is Mel, mummy to Rachael who is almost 3 and a half and Rebecca who is almost 2 and a half.
We live in sunny falkirk which is in the central region of Scotland.
I look forward to talking to you all and getting to know you all very soon. ;D
