We're now getting free nappies for Harrison because he is 4 years old and not toilet-trained. I've been told that in some areas of the country you can get them from when they're 3 years old. Thought I'd just mention it in case it helps anyone. I'm really pleased because I've been spending a fortune on nappies! xxx

Hi Shell, I know what you mean, we've only used pampers in the past because we found all the others leaked. We especially need good quality ones for night time. The ones we've been sent aren't pampers but they're made by Tena (I don't think they can be bought in the shops, I haven't seen them anyway). It's only been a couple of days but so far so good, they seem to be really good quality so it might be worth a go. xxxx P.S. We got them through the health visitor and she came to do an assessment so they ask questions about whether or not they suffer from nappy rash etc.

Jenna is three and a half..we have been getting size 6 pampers since she was three, we also get special 'big nappies' for night time as pampers don't do the trick. They use these pads in hospitals and are called 'attends', we get the small size, these are great and keep her dry at nights. we were reffered through our h/v. gx

well i spoke to my hv today, we cant get them till charlie is 5 even then it will only be if he is too big to get nappies to fit him, so basically we probably wont get them seeing as he is still only in a size 4 pampers now ! it was worth a try though love shell, charlie and jasmin xxxxxx

What a pain! I guess at least now you know but it seems unfair that the rules vary depending on where you live. xxxx
