and 2 more have come along grrrrrrrrr Lucy has been discharged from the consultant at the maternity unit now yay. But a letter received this morning says she has to see a cardiologist next month. She had a heart scan when she was born and all was well. Tried to speak to someone but they are all engaged. Is this a routine check up on her heart anyone know? Also she has a hearing test this month

Hi TIna I was told everything was ok. Thinking back to the last appointment with the consultant she spent a lot of time listening to her heart. Now Im torturing myself thinking is something wrong. \i could only speak to the secretary, but she said it was not an urgent appointment, but it was the consultant that referred her. I just wish they could have told me about the referal, because im sat here imagining all sorts

Daniel had another heart scan, even after he got the all clear - probably just routine and really making sure! He was then officially signed off.. xx

It will probably be to check hole has closed.
I try always to think of the appointments as a good thing, even though I keep getting bad news at them.
Get referred for everything, Its easier to get out of the system than to get in it.

yea i'd say it was routine too... they soon tell u if there is something wrong... u'll more than likely b discharged from them too... lewis as got 2 hearing tests this month so i know how ur feeling about them. hes failed 3, i wish they'd just go 4 the sedation test instead of messing the poor kid around... goodluck anyway karen xxx
