hi we have taken samuel on a plane four times already and i have never thought about telling the holiday insurance any thing special. one tip we found good was to give a child something to stuck on on way up and down we gave samuel his bottle it helps with thier ears.
Hi, I booked our holiday insurance yesterday with the Post Office - booked with them before aswell and they seemed good. They run through a whole list of questions and then there's the medical screening bit that they ask about. I've took out an extra insurance cover for George because he's had heart surgery (which is one of the questions in the medical screening bit). They said that him having Downs syndrome didn't require anything extra it was just because of his heart. I think you can probably see the forms and questions on their website. hth xxx

hi there i have used insure and go twice now, they are pretty good ask the usual health questions and because of charlie's heart and lung disease they will insure him but he has a separate policy it hasnt cost anymore ! but we have to take out the higher insurance cos of his conditions we have to be covered medically for 5 million ! i recently tried other companies who turned us down flat because they asked if he had ever been on home oxygen, luckily insure and go didnt ask .the DSA heart group do have a list of companies that will insure ,but i dont think you even have to declare DS unless they have associated medical conditions. my only tip is take a dummy ! lots of luck shell, charlie and jasmin xxxxxxxxx
