Katelyn has to go into Yorkhill Hospital to get some teeth out (including her front one) and protruding roots removed and some fillings. My worst nightmare is happening, she doesn't have alot of enamel on some of her teeth. I brush her teeth regularly then let her do it, so she doesn't miss any. Not looking forward to her having to be knocked out again because of the problems after her tonsils and gromits operation earlier this year. Poor wee Kate, wish I could go through it for her - wish I'd brushed her teeth after everything she eats!!

Oh no poor Kate - and you. Is this a common problem in kids with ds? Good luck with her appointment and let us know how she is xxxx

OW! I dread this sort of thing happening as we just can't clean Caleb's teeth properly and it's a 2 person job (3 if you include Caleb!)

Poor little mite. I think this is probably what a lot of us worry about if anybody's little ones are like my Cai's. He's a very reluctant teeth brusher.
He uses an electric one now so at least there is something happening but he will not give me access at all. So far so good at dentist but how I'll never know.
Our only problem now is that he grinds his teeth all the time (day and night) so that will be the next issue to address.
Big hugs for your little star. x
