This sounds a bit silly but what car do you drive?. We are looking at changing my car which is currently a Land Rover Discovery which is a fab vehicle but just to expensive to run, I need a vehicle that I can get three car seats across the back seats and is reliable as we live in the middle of nowhere and have to drive every where. So I was just wondering what vehicle you use.

Well we have a citroen picasso - my husband uses it evryday for work, he drives a lot of miles each week( as he is a support worker for people with brain injuries so he supports them in their daily living at their homes). It is a comfortable drive , don't know for sure if it would take 3 car seats in the back - you'd need to check. Ours is a diesel one. Seems pretty reliable. I have a suzuki wagon just for nipping around locally with Rachel & you def. would not get 3 car seats in the back of that !

Hi We have a VW Sharan which is quite roomy. It is a reliable car altho ours is getting old now (P reg) so things are starting to go wrong. You would have to check re-3 seats across back altho ours does have 7 seats in total so lots of room. Ours is also expensive to run as V6 but i am sure you can get diesel versions which are cheaper. It likes longer journeys but guzzles the fuel.
I have an old Escort to run around if my husband has the Sharan and that would not fit 3 seats across back.
Hope this helps. Michelle x

Thanks guys who replied to my question. I have just brought a used Ford S-Max today and It's big enough for kids and buggy's etc...and most important of all it has a big boot to cope with all the clothes/shoes that I buy!!!!
