I think Rosie has Chicken Pox She had a couple of raised spots on her belly this morning but by this evening there were 8 on her belly, 3 on her back, 3 on her neck and 2 on her leg. Look like tiny blisters. Poor love got quite grizzly tonight with a temperature of 100 too. Gonna check again in the morning and might call docs. Does anyone know if i can carry it on me if i don't actually have it (i.e. i go out without Rosie)?? Michelle x

Rosie definately has chicken pox. Took her to docs. Got Piriton and calpol and calomine lotion. She is up and down and covered in spots! Even just inside her eye and all over her privates poor little love. She HATES calomine lotion - she screams when i put it on - to the point of hysteria bless. Took me ages to calm her down last night so i don't think i will do that again unless i really have to. She doesn't seem to be trying to scratch but i suppose she doesn't know what itching is so thats a blessing. Runny nose and high temp and off her food.
**** I am rather worried about her weight (or lack of it tho) she weighed 18lb6oz last monday and is nearly off the bottom of the chart! She is nearly 18 months old. Gonna have to call her consultant and dietitian and tell them really. She is even dropping on the Downs weight chart! Any suggestions?

Aww poor little soul. Really hope she turns the corner and starts to feel better soon. Sorry, no personal advice on the weight issue, but you are doing the right thing about going to the dietician - they'll soon sort her out!! love xx
