Well I guess this is not my favourite milestone but in the last fortnight Rachel has become aright stroppy madam. She roars at us if she's not getting her own way, has taken to shouting over anyone who is having a conversation that doesn't include her, has taken to slapping & pulling hair ( only family so far -thank God) & screams & throws herself about when she doesn't want to do something . So if anyone dares to mention what a sweet nature 'these' children have I'm going to do some screaming myself !! Susan

I hate to break it to you both but the terrible twos may last a while - Brodie is still going through them now and he's nearly 5! lol He did seem to start them a bit later though so maybe that's why they're lasting so long! The worst thing is the growling/screaming and the dropping to the floor like a dead weight cause he's getting a bit too heavy to just pick up and move now, lol I'm sure most of it is to do with communication though and his speech is really starting to come a long now so hopefully it's a phase we'll be out of pretty soon Good luck to anyone else who's going through the same! x x

AHA! Yes... Daniel isnt too bad (touchwood) but like Caleb seems to say no to everything just to show us he's independent! Sometimes we have to say to him, 'do you actually mean yes?' and only then he says yes! Fickle! I'm sure its linked with communication (and of course the usual tantrums that any child goes through - Ive seen a few, even at infant school age, so dont feel alone!!) and when our kids can communicate more it eases off... apparently!! Fun times!!

LOL The terrible twos are hard enough with normal kids, Holly is just starting hers now and she is nearly 4.we have the crying & screaming, the dropping to the floor and general ignoring everyone. Holly is still non verbal though, we are trying to encourage her to use her signs though now, she knows enough of them..LOL

Blimey, you couldnt have described Jasmine any better, she is exactly the same... driving me insane. Real stubourness too, wont eat her food cos she wants to feed it herself then real frustration that she cant do it... definitely doesnt want nappy changes or bascically to be made to do anything except when she wants to... the joys bless em.
