Hi all, just a quick question. At what age did your little ones start to walk by themselves? George was 3 in June and is still not walking without having both of his hands held. He can do a couple of steps holding just one hand but thats all. He also tries to stand up on his own but just falls onto his bottom. He has been given splints a couple of months ago as he has so much flexibility in his ankles and feet so hopefully they will help. Thanks for reading, love Claire xxxxx

Awwwww bless him. He is doing it holding your hands so seems that its just a matter of confidence.
Holly was 2 years 9 months when she took her 1st solitary steps.
She still falls over a lot now.. LOL

Sounds like he's almost there! Brodie walked at 21 months but he wanted to be up on his feet from a very early age, interestingly Lucas the youngest of my twins didn't walk till nearly 21 months either, in fact i was starting to get quite worried about him! I think a lot of it is to do with confidence and i bet it won't be too much longer before he'll be running rings around you! x x

Sounds like he's nearly there - Daniel did lots of trying to stand and take a couple of steps, and lots of falling over. He then managed to do about 5 steps, fall over and then get back up again for another 5...repeat repeat! Would take us AGES to get anywhere. He was 2y 8 months before I would confidently say walking was his preferred mode of transport. He was a lightening crawler! Just lots of practice (and bad backs for you!) and George will get there. (Daniels only just managed to stand completely still - used to take mini steps on the spot!) xx
