Did anyone else see this programme earlier in the week? I watched it with some reservations but was moved at the honesty & courage of the families featured . But was frustrated & angry to hear the stupid red tape that stops people gettin the help their children need. I also just cannot understand why people feel that families with children with special needs are a target to abuse, bullying & insult - this should be a crime on a level with racism etc , if you target someone because of their ethnic origin you are commiting a crime the same should be if someone has a special neeed or disability.

I watched this programme yesterday and it was a real eye opener to how other people feel. It was really sad to see all these children with severe needs and behavior problems. Its a real shame that they are not getting the help that they need, or being offered it when it is to late... Gwen

hi, i watched this programme and have to admit there were parts of it that felt very close to home for me. From the silly problems with getting enough nappies!! to the experiences of siblings. While we have lots of wonderful times with our children, some of us still have to deal with all sorts of challenges from day to day and i think it was brave of the families to be so honest about their experiences.
