so I thought I'd just say how well I think you are all doing with the site, it has come on in leaps and bounds and it is a tremendous achievement to be nearing your 1st anniversary - here's to many more to come.
I'd just like to apologise for not using the site as much as I'd like to, but I do recommend it to as many people as I can.
Every time I visit the topics have increased and I have no problems with the site at all.
The only topic that I haven't found (although could be missing it - my head is like mush) relates to benefits/services etc. I know different areas mean services differ, but benefits tend to be more or less the same.
For example, I never knew I could claim Carers Allowance until later in the day, I do now, but it took another mum to tell me. Do parents realise that there are lots of charities/funds etc who will consider funding a specific item/outing for your child? Sometimes the professionals who work with us are not as forthcoming with info as they could be. Trust me I know - hospital complaint being dealt with as we speak.
If it's already covered somewhere and I've just been a donut please forgive me.
But, don't forget the site is great and a godsend to all of us. Don't ever go away!

No there's not a section for benefits etc, I'll speak with admin and get that arranged, I can add a good bit to it cos I work in the civil service and it's not too much new info for me but I understand a good lot of new members have asked about this.
I just wanted to say, I love this site, its full of useful information, everyone is friendly and very welcoming. I have thoroughly enjoyed being a member and hope the site goes from strength to strength.
