Restaurant rob works for is moving to another town and owners have put his wages on £7hr to say thanks for staying with them (they've had loads of probs with crap staff). They did say there are some flats with the new restaurant but they believe there in a bad condition and have no plans to do them up yet. But his been offered another job also in another town, its a proper restaurant, making the type of meals he wants to get into. So his thinking of accepting there offer.
In a way its come at a bad time as he has to travel to either and back late at night (he can't drive yet) we could try looking for a house to buy but really we need 100% morgage and i know my bank doesn't offer that. Plus i need to choose a nursery for saul for sept, if he goes to teh new job and we get a house there, Saul will be able to go to nursery with special needs kids he already knows.
so confused its like i spend months being bored doing nothing and then 101 things all happen at once that need sorting.

Oh, I don't know what to suggest, only you know all the details, suppose it might be an idea to write a list of pros and cons...it can sometimes be more clear then.
Good luck, which ever way you choose.xxx

Well the whole mortgage idea has gone, no-one will lend us enough money. most say about £50,000 that won't even buy us a 1 bed flat here. We saw some possibly suitable properties on the net, but all are around 130K.
We told one advisor we could pay about £600 a month, and he said well why don't you find some where to rent and come back in a few years when you have more of a deposit. 1) if we spend it all on rent we won't have the money to save 2) Robs wage won't be much different so they still won't lend us any more money then
the whole system is stupid
So it looks like we'll have to find somewhere to rent. Asked for more info on a few properties, trying for a house this time, if we can with 3 bedrooms. Some of them have gardens to so that will be better, and they have kitchens not just a couple of old cupboards like our flat. lol
