Thomas has had a bad cough and cold for a few days now and as a result is pooing very often (its also quite runny. sorry if TMI!!). He has now developed an AWFUL nappy rash which is red raw and blistered. He's screaming when we change his nappy!
I've tried sudocrem and vasogen which haven't helped a bit. Can anyone recommend anything else to help cos my poor little man is in agony and I've gone blank as to what else there is out there!
He's currently sitting nappyless on a towel........
When my older children were little & had awful nappy rash, I use to paint it with egg white & leave it to dry open to the air, it really seemed to help but its no good if they've an allergy to egg white. I know it sounds weird but I guess these old wives remedies can help sometimes. I've used kamillosan as well but not for really bad nappy rash.
I would use Duffy's Nappie Cream which i think is very good. I know that it is very hard to get. I can get some here and post it to you if you want. When i put in on at night Jack or Ben's bum (which ever is sore) is usually healed in the morning.
