picture this, joshua is sitting (yes by himself!!) in a booster chair with the tray full of his toys
1. pick a toy up, he now has 2 options
a) shove it down the side of the booster seat
b) throw it as far as he can away from him
2. look and see if mum has noticed
3. repeat step one until the tray is clear of toys
4. sit and stare/moan at mummy until all toys are replaced onto the tray
5. repeat as neccesary or until mum has been driven around the bend!!

Ah, he shares the same interests as Lisa then lol!!
I now give her a basket full of toys, and just leave her to empty it...the more you put in, the longer they're happy for lol!

he is aint he??!! the main reason he was sitting is coz the seat he was in has a tray with it and i had it right up to his chest - so he didnt have much room to fall forward.. although he can fall sideways we now have the seat tied to a chair so he sits in it when he has his food

Have you two got a bumbo chair??
I found it really helped with lisa's sitting, they're quite expensive but worth every penny!!
I only used mine for a couple of months, and now have it stored for number 4!!
Oh Rilith...Lisa LOVES rattles, they are by far her fav toys, she will shake everything to see if it makes a noise, and if it does, then she keeps doing it!
She's also in to musical light thingys. My other two were never really interested in half the things Lisa likes, Maybe I just didn't notice with them? Or they got through their phases much quicker.

Deffo going through the phases quicker, the boys never had time to explore things, it was all one big rush.
I have heard of those bumbo things. How expensive are they though?? I don't really have a lot of money ATM with me been on the sick

I bought mine for £30, but they range from that to £35.
Would have sold you mine on the cheap if I wasn't going to use it again.
Have a look on ebay....you never know??

although the bumbo seats are great - apparently the bath seats do the same thing and josh has a booster seat like a high chair and i personally think that it is helping him a bit with his balance!

The idea is to support the trunk of the body...so if you can compromise with something that should work I guess,
Maybe give one of those bath chairs a go.....I wish I knew about them lol...could have saved myself a few quid!!

Awww, never got to use our door bouncer....Don't trust the dog lol.....she doesn't look where she's going!
Had a few goes in it though and she loved it!
What a great pressie!!
Lisa would only go in hers for short periods of time, then I bought that ring for her, which I found really good, but it was dowm to the bumbo, where she got the strength from.
