What age did your LO teethe? Caleb has been a right winger :'(for a couple of days now and chewing his fists like his life depended on it. Yesterday he had bright red cheeks too. Now the problem is that I have had a sore throat so maybe he has that - but maybe we are going to be the porud recipients of teeth?? I've not done any of this before - and I was told that Caleb probably wouldn't get teeth before he was 1 (fine with me as boobs and teeth sound like a bad mix!) What do you think???

Daniel's just got his first two bottom teeth (he's 8 months old) but he had been dribbling, chewing hand/thumb/anything and had red cheeks for a couple of months! I think generally chidren with DS do get their teeeth later but of course they are all different! Its really funny because he's just getting used to them and has learnt how to 'clank' them on his plastic beaker! I was very excited when he got them so good luck!!

Aww, poor Charlie lol!!!
Lisa was about a year old when she got her first I think, it was no earlier though.
She now has 3 front teeth, 3 bottom teeth and 1 back tooth in each corner.
There was a woman in SCBU when I had Rhys, and her ds had teeth when he was born!!! And she was B/F!! Ouch....
Rhys, (though he hasn't Downs) I think may be teething, he's 7 months, he's shouving (sp) everything in his mouth at the mo, but then that could just be that he thinks EVERYTHING is food lol....lil piggy that he is!

Since he's got teeth though he is constantly grinding them which goes right through me! lol Do anyone elses children do this and anyone got any top tips on how to stop them doing it? I'm worried the way he's grinding them he'll have none left by christmas!!

Aaron grinds his teeth too - it used to drive me mad at the beginning but I don't really notice it now. Aaron was about 8 months or so when he got his first tooth, but his teeth came in in no particular order - mind u, his bottom teeth are like needles. My mam put her finger in his mouth the other day to make sure all the food had gone in - she now wishes she hadn't cos he almost drew blood!!!
