Had my scan this morning, clinic was running 90 mins late so waited ages. Scan was great, got really clear pics and baby laid in perfect position for the measurements to be taken. The consultant told us that as the naucal (sp) was fine and he expects the blood tests to be he won't be worried downs could occur again even though he can't rule that out. He did say if downs isn't picked up by scans and tests it usually means its because the child isn't going to be as badly affected by the condition as some children. which in Sauls case does seem true so far. now have to wait till 21 weeks for the next scan, and may have another one after that as i want a home birth and Saul's birth weight was 5lb 15 and they don't know if the Downs caused that or it was just low.
