Charli went for a hearing test today, it seems that she is not hearing anything below 40 dec and her left ear is worse than her right, but she has a cold so are not sure if this is why so they want to repeat the test in 6wks, feel a little guilty as i honestly thought her hearing was fine, have to wait and see now x

could well just be the cold or a bit of glue ear. Don't feel guilty - one of my friends had glue ear til she was 5 and no one noticed!!

Aaawww don;t beat yourself up about it, George has Glue ear and doesn;t hear below 50 or 60 (can't remember exactly), so he;s now got hearing aids, but I can't say that we;d really noticed anything major with him before. It could well be worse because Charli has a cold and glue ear fluctuates anyway xx

When I took Jack for his last hearing test they told me that it takes DS children longer for their hearing to develop it can take them maybe until the age of 4.
Jack has better hearing at the moment in his right ear than his left but I put it down to selective hearing!!
Dont beat yourself up about it

Funny you should say that max, we have noticed grace rubbing her head over the past week which just confirms what the hearing test did, poor lil things must be trying to clear their ears just as we would xx
