it don't take a lot ;D and i may well have asked this question before !! Lucy had her appointment with the consultant at the maternity unit today, all was well etc. I asked if she could be discharged as we are now under the child dev unit. They both do the same things but in 2 different places. I was told no, because they have a meeting before she can be discharged.
She is probably one of the oldest babies there. I know its good for Lucy - she's being well looked after - but they seem to be creating work for themselves and extra appointments for me. And i didn't really understand why she couldn't be discharged and didn't want to look like a plank keep asking ;D So anyone any ideas??
Everyone is really happy with her development/weight gain etc so its not as if she has a health reason to need to be seen every 4 months.

Oooh not sure really. George has a paediatrician that we see about every 6 months then he sees physio, etc through the child development centre but all this was put in place by the paed aswel as all the other appointments like ears, eyes, thyroid etc. The paed doesn;t really do alot when we actually see her, just weighs and measure and checks that we are still getting all the other appointments. Don;t know if that helps you at all xx
