Hiya everyone,
I haven't been on or posted in a while so I thought I'd give everyone an update on Jasmine and how she's doing.
I can't believe how quickly the time goes, she's 7 almost 8 months old and yet it doesn't seem 5 minutes since she arrived.
I think I posted in milestones a while back that she was sitting alone, well we have a slight set back now as she refuses to sit because she wants to stand all of the time. She braces her legs and it's almost impossible to sit her on my knee or in her buggy, she's a stubourn little madam. (Good job she's cute with it!)
So she can sit when she wants to, still no teeth (booh hooo), she stands really well and dances, she nods and I also get the odd shake of the head.... really funny when Grandma asks if she was being naughty and she shakes her head vigourously... cheeky!
She's eating really well, on really solid, lumpy food now, just won't feed herself, she opens her mouth like a sparrow and it stays open until she can't fit any more in. lol.
No real health problems except that she needs glasses (long sighted) and has severe hay fever.
She still sleeps great, took a while getting her used to her own room and the light nights and mornings have shortened sleep time to about 9pm til 7am, still can't complain though. Am learning to recognise the cry from night terrors now and leave her to sleep although it still disturbs me.
Just been out this weekend and spoiled her with new toys, clothes, walker etc so she's been in her element. She's started to be really interested in different toys now so I wanted to encourage her hand eye co-ordination which is still a bit sluggish.
Overall she's still a little angel with a mishievious devil that comes out every so often. She makes me laugh every day with the faces she pulls and noises she makes, wish I knew what went through that little head of hers.
We're all settled into our new home (not sure if I mentioned that we've moved again), round the corner from Grandma and Grandad with a lovely garden.
Going to catch up on a few posts now.
Thanks for reading xxx
