My youngest DD Georgia is 4.6yrs and JUST WON'T WALK! We took the girls and the dog to our local country park yesterday, she walked for about 2 minutes then just STOPPED...dead in her tracks! and sat on the floor with her arms folded!! What does everyone else do? - Part of me thinks "just put her in the pushchair" and part of me thinks "she's starting school in September, she will have to walk on school trips etc so am I just giving up too easy? Either way she ended up on Gary's (my hubby) shoulders after a while because we had run out of ideas to get her to walk and we had paid a fiver to get in there so we didnt want to just give up and go home!

awww bless her ,we are lucky charlie still cant walk far cos he gets breathless butthe school had said even if he didnt have medical problems they would still allow the use of a pushchair on school trips, maybe you could ask them a friend of ours daughter vicki is 22 years old with DS still does exactly the same and she refuses to walk until she's ready lol, once on a trip to the coast she had had enough in woolworths and just plonked herself down in the middle of the shop floor lol love shell, charlie and jasmin
