Hello! My name's Michelle and my gorgeous little princess is called Georgia (well one of them anyway, also have an older goreous princess called Abigail). Georgia is 4 now and is just fantastic. It was a massive shock when she was born but we muddled through and now we couldnt imagine life without our little ray of sunshine. We are very lucky that Georgia doesnt really have any medical problems (she wears glasses - that it!) and she is doing fantastically well at nursery school. I was advised to visit this site by Michelle and Claire who I met on Bounty.com - cheers girls would have posted a photo but havent got a clue how to! any help appreciated. x

Hi Michelle, lovely to meet you. Can't wait to hear all about Georgia and her big sister. I'd love to offer help with photos but I'm rubish too. The best site to use which is free is photobucket, you open an account, upload your pics from your pc and then copy the link into here.... not much help am I? lol
Oh, I'm Lucy by the way. I have a gorgeous daughter, Jasmine Ruth who is 16 weeks and has DS. I found out during pregnancy and also had this site recommended through Bounty, have found it very comforting, friendly and informative.
Chat soon, Lucy x

Hi Michelle, I know what you mean, Harrison is currently in size 12-18 mths clothes (nearly 18-24mths!), so don't know where I will find a uniform that small! Will probably be a total wreck when september comes round. Are you going through statementing for Georgia? x

I keep feeding Harrison in the hope he will put on weight but even though he eats loads he never seems to get any bigger!! I might buy a uniform and see if I can shrink it! They seem so young to be starting school this year don't they? xx

Hiya lisa, yes I we are going through statementing. Oooh the stress!! I'm also trying to convert a whole school to using Makaton! - no easy task I can tell you! Georgia is going to be going to the same main stream school as our eldest Abigail and as of yet nobody there uses makaton. Ive been in to see the head and explained that really they could use it as a matter of course in the foundation unit so that all the children know the signs and it isnt isolating the one child who uses it to communicating only with a one to one. She was very keen, and just as keen for me to organise it!! No wonder i spend so much on getting my hair dyed

Hi Michelle If you've saved your photos in photobucket then the photo which you want to copy should have a reference under it which you can copy and paste, I think the reference begins and ends in IMG? I'm not very techy so I'm sure someone else will be along to help if I'm wrong. Georgia sounds like she's doing fab, sometimes we have to give these schools a bit of a push which can be draining. Maybe the fact that Georgia needs makaton signing can be mentioned in her statement. Lots of luck with it, there seem to be quite a few of us with little ones who will be starting school so hopefully we can help each other through it

Hi Michelle, I'm Tina, mum to Brodie who will be 4 in August and another one who will be starting school in September. My concern isn't the size of the school uniform i'll have to buy but the amount of them! He is so messy he gets through at least 3 changes of clothes a day at nursery! lol Looking forward to getting to know you and your family x x

hi there michelle, i worried so much about the makaton too,i mentioned it to charlie's Ed Physc and she put it in his statement, and had a word with the head teacher at nursery so when they did employ his 1-1 they stressed the importance of makaton and the difficulties charlie had with communicating so the whole 5 nursery teachers and charlie's 1-1 went on a course through the summer holidays to learn makaton which i was so thrilled about. The only problem they have is charlie adapts some signs and they have to ask me what they mean and vice versa ,but it works for all of us and most importantly charlie. He is so happy at nursery now and his signing is fantastic lots of luck with statementing if your worried speak to your Ed Physc or even the teacher at school lots of love shell, charlie and jasmin xxxxxxxxx

Hi Michelle, good to see you on here xx
With the photo's if you want to put them on your signature then go into your profile and click on modify, then in photobucket when you uploaded your pics click on the last image code - starts and ends in IMG - copy it then paste it into the signature bit of your profile. Go to the bottom of your profile and click on modify profile again. That should do it. If you want to put some pics in the gallery just open a new thread and copy and paste the pictures like with the signature ones. Hope this works for you as I'm not very good with computers but updated my sig pics a couple of days ago so think I've remembered it right lol. Look forward to seeing pictures of your little girls. Claire xx

Ahh, they are both gorgeous girls. Georgia looks so grown up, when did she turn 4?
Did she enjoy her sandwhich? I know a little boy who's eyes would light up at the sight of a sandwhich like that! lol

Hahaha! He would have to fight her for it!! Georgia and I were sharing that sandwich but everytime I had a bit I got the death stare!! Gerogia was 4 on the 28th September. She is shooting up at the moment, and although she is still smaller than the other children at school she is getting big! She's got quite long legs, and an even bigger mouth!! Her new favourite saying is 'cos I said no'- which she casually throws in when asked 'why?', for example ME : "Georgia would you like some lunch", GEORGIA: "no!", ME : "Why?", GEORGIA: "Cos I said no!" Delightful!
