Our family lost my Nana last night to cancer, we only found out a few weeks ago that she had bowel and secondary liver cancer and were told last week that she only had a few weeks to live. Sadly she passed away very peacefully in her sleep and all though we are all devastated we can take some comfort in knowing that she died in the presence of her children and that she did not suffer. I felt that i needed to share this as i have come to think of you as friends and i know that if i need someone to talk to there will be someone here for me. x x

Sorry for you big loss.
I know how you feel as i lost my mum to cancer a year coming on the 12 November. She was given a year to live but lasted 7 weeks.
The only confort that you can take from it is that she has no more suffering. If you need someone to talk to i am here.

Oh Sarah I'm so sorry to hear that you've lost your nana so suddenly. At least she didn't have a long suffering illness and you can remember her how she was. Like the others have said I'm sure she will be watching over you all and keep Charli and the new baby safe. Take care and make sure you look after yourself and you little bump xxx ps, I'm glad you consider us all to be friends on here, we are lucky to have each other x

Thats so sad, sorry for your loss. Thank God that she went peacefully and surrounded by loved ones, just the way most people could chose I bet. Take care of yourselves and give each other hugs hugs at this time.

thanks all for such nice messages, its so touching, it does help that she did not suffer as many people often do with cancer, my grandad died 6yrs ago and he suffered lots. They have been like second parents to us as my dad left when i was 7 so they helped to bring us up, im gonna miss her so much, but i know she is watching over us, we are having a horse and carrage for her not sure of the date yet though. Thanks again for you lovely messages x x x
