Just thought I'd share what a clever girl little Jasmine is.... just over a weeks ago she rolled completely from her back to her front. She has been rolling onto her side for a few weeks so I thought it was just a fluke and that she'd lost her balance... this week she did it again three times, she throws her leg over and wriggles until she gets her arm free then lifts herself right of the floor on her tummy. Am so proud of her as she is the first to roll over of the babies from my antenatal group. Obviously putting her on her front early and using toys to get her attention must have encouraged her. Can't wait for her physio next Monday, just hope she shows off and does it for them!

WTG Jasmine, that is really good. Physio will be very pleased. I found baby massage good as well for muscles.
Proud mummy moment!! Were there tissues involved??

That's brilliant! Is she available to come and give lessons to my 2 lazy boys who are now 6 months old and have no intention of rolling from their back to front! Hope she shows off for the physio, although you know what babies are like, they like to make their mummys look like liars and as soon as you say they can do something they decide they're not gonna bother anymore! lol x x

Just thought I'd update the thread as Jasmine went to physio yesterday.... someone said kids try to make their parents look daft, I told the physio that she can roll over from her back onto her front.... would she do it?.... not a chance..... then I said she gets frustrated because when she's on her front she can't get back onto her back.... what next? .... she rolls from her front to her back (first tme ever) and then gives me a cheeky smile! I had to laugh.
Am sure it will come soon with Kimmy Michelle, Jasmine has had really good head control and been strong from day 1, mainly cos she's nosey and would miss something if she couldn't move her head into every conceivable angle!

kimmy has had stronger legs than arms she was quite floppy but her head is stronger, its a female thing being nosy kimmy is desperate for it shes afraid of missing something lol. we wer at mother and baby group and she was trying to get other babies attention by making noises and waving arms, she soo much wanted to do what the rest were doing was sooo cute so she started to sit a bit not yet a minute tho but geting there
