WTG Josh
Now he's done it once, he'll perfect his techinque, so he doesn't hurt himself, then your doomed.
1 Big Boy Bed for his Birthday or Christmas.
Thank god Cameron hasn't done that yet.

Hi Danni
Harry did the same thing when he was younger, I still don't know how he managed it, I think he must have climbed on top of some toys and then launched himself over the side!! I was lying in bed and suddenly heard a massive thud and scream and went running in to see him sprawled on the floor!! We bought him a futon to sleep on because he was too small for a big bed, he still sleeps on it now and it's lovely and comfy (we bought it on line from Tescos). It's only a couple of inches off the floor so no chance he will hurt himself. He climbs in and out but he has a gate on his bedroom door so he can't get out and fall down the stairs!! I used to keep putting him back in bed once he had climbed out but have now found if I leave him for a while he climbs back on the bed himself because it's nice and cosy. Good luck with it. Maybe you ought to try putting some big pillows on the floor for now in case he tries it again, lol. xx

i had the same problem with cory as well ..i found once he could get his arms over he was able to get him self over ..its the same with gates i now have a dog gate on my stairs (its the same as a baby gate but much taller) with the bed we tried a baby bed but he wriggled about to much and kept banging his head so we put him a big bed with a side thingy ..he is getting to big for that so i cut the legs of the bed so its only a couple of inches of the floor ...
