Yey ;D really pleased as we had a letter through yesterday to say that Brodie has got a place at our local primary school starting in September. Got a little bit upset as it made the whole thing suddenly seem very real and i realised my little baby really is growing up Just got to finish off the whole statementing business now to make sure he gets the support he needs!

He will just have a helper so he will have one to one support in the classroom but we have to wait until they've done his statement of needs to see exactly how much support he gets. Some children need very little, others need quite a lot but it varies so much from child to child. Personally i'm hoping he gets a lot of support, at least to begin with, as i think it would be easier to start off like that and then cut it down if he doesn't need it rather than find out he hasn't got enough and end up struggling.
