I went to the clinic today to get Lucy weighed she is now a whopping 13lb 130z and has moved up a centile (i was getting worried as she was on the lowest one) The funny thing is i always think she looks chubby you know when they have chunky bits round their arms and legs she even has them round her wrist ;D but the health visitors always say how small she is ???she certainly doesn't look starved!!! and she has 5 bottles and 3 solids i couldn't get anymore food down her if i tried ;D Im happy anyway even if they are not lol

Grace was that weoght at around the same as george, and at that stage she was almost on the 50th centile. Sounds like you might be using the wrong chart, speak to your HV, I agree she looks absdolutley fine in her picture, in fact she looks a beauty xxx

Her weight looks fine, as claire and Shirley said make sure its downs chart in her book.
Cameron was 6lb when born and he reached 13lb at 27 weeks and was on just above 25th Centile on downs chart.

When cameron was about to be discharged from maternity out patients the paed sat us down with dietitian, she spoke in a very soft voice and was treating us with kid gloves as though we were getting bad news. She explained camerons weight at birth and weight now, showing us the chart and how he wasn't registering on it and she started to tell us about changing his formula, when I noticed that the centile lines weren't the same as my book. I showed her my book and queried whether it was downs charts she was working on.
Well she ran out the room quicker than I could get the book shut!!!!!! She was working from "normal" charts

Karen, our charts are edged in green and say downs syndrome on them. You'd think that they would be automatically given to you when you were given the red book wouldn't you, but we didn;t get ours for a few months either - they must be like gold dust x ps George was weighed today and is 24lb at nearly 20 months - my friends little boy (not got ds) weighed 17lb last week and he's not even 5 months yet - George was 10 months before he got to 17lb! I'm sure Lucy is just fine but you've got the wrong charts x

charli weighed 12lb 2oz at 24wks our hv did not even know that Charli needed a different chart we had to tell her as we had already been told by another parent we met whilst i was pg, the charts make a big difference. Charli's is pink and grey and says : Girls : Down Syndrome , 3 months to 18 years height and weight. on it Lucy looks great in her pic x

My downs chart is A4 size and I have to fold it in half to fit in the red book. we had to wait a while for it.
