to post this but.
Im taking Harry to the docs this afternoon - he seems to have yellow hands and feet - only occasionally throughtout the day - his eyes are clear and the rest of him is 'normal' (lol That will be a first!) so I dont think its jaundice??Anyone got any ideas what it could be? He's happy enough, breathing fine - not too blue, eating well, active enough, shouting his head off as I type lol Just a bit worrying - he's had iton and off for a few days and at firstI thought it may have been him sticking his hands in his mouth allthe time and the staining off his dinners but his feet are the same - only on and off though??
sorry for rambling! If its not one thing its another!! :-/xxx

Hmm...not sure if this is the same, but Lisa has an orange tinge to her skin, more noticable in her hands and feet, this is because of the food that she eats. She lives off jarred food (slap my wrists lol) and most of the food has loads of orange veg in it. I can't remember the name of the word, but if you eat loads of orange fruit and veg, then it colours your skin.
Hope this helps, though it may be something completely different.

Nicola sometimes says the same about Kacie, that sometimes she looks yellowy/orange, i think its just an olivey skin colour, nothjing in her eyes and when she was in hospital the Doctors said she was not jaundiced so sorry not much help, but may be nothing to worry about, maybe just another quirk of our special angels.

Yes I took her to the docs, they agreed with me on her diet, but as Lizzy says, best to get checked out anyway, as I was worried with Lisa that it may have been her liver.
I'm sure he'll be fine,
I used to say, Lisa looked like she'd been tangoed lol, honestly she wasn't that orange!!

I have a friend who's child cannot digest the orange colour in carrots etc and she turns orange, but they have been told that she will eventually grow out of it.

we went to the docs - he's not worried, said his eyes are clear so he's not sending him for a blood test - just to go back if it gets any worse - it seems to come and go - I do think its something to do with his dinners! Thanks for the replies everyone! x
