We are due to go for Aaron's third eye test tomorrow as he is borderline for needing glasses. Does anybody else's child have glasses and could give me advice? If he gets them, how will they stay on? !!!! - apart from gluing them to his head - haha

Awwwwww Bless him. My youngest son has just had to have glasses and he is just turned 5. (4 when he had them) He took to them really well, but his was a quite a big problem.
They are really well fitting, just a matter of keep putting them back on each time he takes them off, he'll soon get used to them.

hi lynnie.brandon has had glasses since his first eye test he has quite poor eyesight he's very long sighted.we got through about 6 pairs of glasses before he started to keep them on.they have rounded ends around his ears so when he's running about and stuff they stay on.he's had them about 2 years now if not more and in the morning he goes and gets them because he can't do without them.he's just had some new ones because they have upped the strength and he always seems alright with them.they adjust to glasses alot better than you think.everyone tells me brandon does well in his glasses.so good luck hope all goes well.

We went along to the eye test, but Aaron didn't co-operate as well as I would have liked! They are leaving him for about another 6 months or so - he is long sighted but they don't think that it is anything to worry about just now - thank goodness. We'll see what happens in 6 months........

Well I suppose you can relax for now then,
At least they weren't concerned for now.
No need for the super glue just yet lol!

Its true though, we never even noticed Stevie had a problem with his eyes until he did the quick eye test thing in school. I felt awful for not realising, but they all reassured me its not a problem for them while they are small
