Yesterday we had Rachel's appt with child development team, the orthoptist was very pleased with her, said 'she doesn't miss much' , long chat with speech therapist and then saw community paed. doctor who was very encouraging & positive especially as we are so lucky that Rachel has no health problems. Only person missing was the physio apparently they are a bit short of them ?! They are refering her to the Portage team, she is on the list for their Thera-play group ( when she's a bit older) . Good to meet the team and they assured us that we only have to ring if we have any concerns etc that they might be able to help with. So they won't see her again until October, told me to go away enjoy her, just let her be a baby and do all the things you would normally do .

Rachel will be 14 weeks tomorrow . She is cooing at us, bringing her hands to her mouth , trying to grasp things and totally spoilt, she knows how to get attention- what a girl!
