We have an appointment at the respiratory clinic on Thursday - the last few have been good news that Aaron's chest seems to be gettin stronger. He has a narrowing of the tube which leads to the upper right lobe, but they aren't sure whether he was born with it, or if it is a result of all the chest infections and bronchiolitis he had when he was younger. He has had a few colds n stuff this year, but they haven't gone down into his chest like they used to - thank goodness for the good summer we had this year!!
Hopefully they might say he doesn't need his inhalers any more - he doesn't like them very much. Gets fed up of singing Twinkle Twinkle every time - must change the song and see if that makes a difference . I will report back on Thursday with his progress..............

good luck, charlie has to have 2 inhalers we always have to clap after every puff which can get quite tedious when he has to have 6 puffs hourly when he is poorly, the only thing is that he scours the room to make sure every person in there claps and the little monkey won't have the next puff till we have all clapped bless him

We go to Yorkhill for his respiratory and heart clinics, but we get our hearing, physio and speech therapy at Southbank. Then we have our eyes checked at the Viccy - like to spread ourselves around - lol!!
Because we move in 2 weeks to Forfar, we will need to get new clinics and everything sorted out - o the joys. I'm not sure yet whether we can get it done in Forfar or whether we will need to go to Dundee.
Any one from that area at all that could help me??

Good news from the respiratory clinic - we can now come off the steroid inhaler and just use the ventolin one as and when we need it. His chest was clear and she was delighted to see him lookin so well!!!!
