Brodie has to go to hospital on 24th April to have an opperation on his thumb. He was born with an extra thumb on his right hand so they have finally decided to remove it. Apparently its nothing to do with him having ds but is just one of those things that happens sometimes and can also be hereditary. However no one in mine or Pauls family have this, at least not that they've admitted to anyway.. lol Anyway trying not to worry about it too much as if all goes to plan he should go in in the morning and be out by tea time! Be interesting to see if either of our new babies have any extra fingers or toes!

Of course you can, might not be able to do it till next week though as our computer at home with all our photos on is broken at the mo. We've been taking prints of his hands and plenty of photos so we can show him when he's older..lol

Oooooh! He's a boy so will probably be very proud of the fact he once had an extra thumb! Come to think of it I'd be quite pleased if I'd had one! You'd win in a scar contest anyway!
