Hiya,
How are you all? How did you get on with the dietician? Sorry I'm a bit slow in asking - it's been hectic here. Lucy has: Audiology on 1st Nov Shoe check on 2nd Nov Early communication group every other monday Soft play (physio) every other tuesday
Lucy also starts with the chilminder on wed to allow me some time out. I don't know what I will do with myself.
She had her flu jag yesterday (still has the bruise to prove it) and is waiting to see if she has to have the pnuemonia one again as she had it last year and the nurse thinks she will be covered.
Take care Nicola

The review went really well ta hun, she was really pleased with the weight gain, she is happy that we have started to replace some of the high cal milk with normal moo juice. (she put on 12 oz in a week!!) Cus she still isn't drinking enough we still are using the tube for top up fluids and the girl will just not take her meds either. She was talking about the peg with us, cus the tube is more out than in (you know that one... LMAO) so she is discussing it with the paed, maybe they will do it in brum next time she is in theatre get the 2 done together. Just got to see how she goes in Winter now. She has been recommended to have the bronchoilitis jab, the pnuemo one we gave give to her if we want to (prolly will...LOL) and the other one we have got to. Thanks for asking babes

They get so dependant on the tube don't they? Lucy is a pain with meds. Luckily she has been taken off all the important ones since her op. It takes 2 of us to give her lactulose and calpol orally if she needs it.

What a great idea. Lucy is on antibiotics for a chest infection at the mo and it's taking 2 of us to give her 5mls orally. You just think you've cracked it and half of the dose comes back. Grrrr!!!
