well, what do you think?
friday we had a copy of 2 letters off joshua's portage worker one saying that he has been referred for speech and language therapy and one saying that he has been referred for physio
this morning i had a phone call off the woman for physio - she was offering an appointment as she has had a cancellation - so, we have an appointment on friday at 9.30!!

I cannot believe this is you after 10 months just being referred for speech and language therapy and physio. Cameron was referred for everything from paed who diagnosed him and saw S & L at 16 weeks, physio wasn't until he was 7 months, but they felt he didn't need it and it was more a few tips than actual exercises. The equivalent of your portage worker he saw at 20 weeks.

right..
where do i start.....
he has poor muscle tone in his stomach, his feet go to far forward and backward (i gather it is common though as she mentioned about getting shoes for him when he is older...sound familiar??) he locks his knee joints when he stands so the backs of his legs go flat when he stands
he has to have plenty of floor time and he is not to use the bumbo unless it is for him playing with toys with his hands as it completely supports him so he is not using his hips etc to balance
on the brighter side, he has great head control and he has good muscle tone in his arms
she wants to see him about once a month
erm.. cant think of anything else off the top of my head so will add as we go along
