Hello all, I haven,t been around for a while. Hope you are all well. My little Miss Lydia-Gracie is now nearly 19 months old and has just had the fantastic news that her infantile spasms/west syndrome is finally under control!!!! Hurrahh!! She was diagnosed at one year old but had them from four months. In the the process of prescribing different medications during her 2 month stay in hospital she ended up with herpes, cellulitis and meningoccocal septicemia. She is crawling now and pulling herself up on furniture and into almost everything... it's great!!! Super Lyd or what! I just wish I only knew how to get the bloomin photo's up for you to see. I have forgotten how to do it! Love Jacqui and Lil' Lyd xxx

Thats great news for you all that everything is under control now. Terrible that she picked up so much in hospital though, is she all better regarding that now? She sounds like she is making good progress with her crawling etc. Nice to have you back on here, and I look forward too seeing some photo's when you work out how to do it - have you tried photobucket in 'picture gallery' ? xxxx

Wow, glad she is doing so well but nitemare that she contracted so many illnesses in hospital, just shows they're the worst places to be for picking up bugs! It's brill that they have her spasms under control with medication, is the condition something that she will grow out of or will she always need treatment hun?
