well its good they're being so helpful - lets hope that's a good sign. has she been going to nursery? I keep thinking i need to get Rachel down for a nursery soon.
have they had children with DS in the school before, i know that at the moment the school Rachel would go to(my old work place) have never had a child with DS in it, lots of children with ADHD, Autism etc

Hope tuesday goes ok for Georgia (and you too ). We had a meeting at Harry's new school last tuesday and his new teacher and the ta's were lovely too. I'm sure it will probably be more traumatic for us than it will be for them, lol. Will need lots of tissues handy when September comes xxx

shes been going to the mainstreem nursery within the school and the unit is practically the same sort of lay out as there so hopefully she'll be fine! they've had kids with ds in the unit there before so they should know what to expect etc where as the nursery hadnt had any child with special needs before so georgia was a bit of a shock to them lol

well miss g had her first morning at the rainbow room (special unit) and she LOVED IT!!! She didnt want to come home lol theres only 16 kids in there and 5 teachers which i thought was quite good. All the teachers are lovely and so are the kids all the older ones were mothering her cuz she was new and the smallest. Had a nice chat with her teacher which has put my mind at ease about her going full time (i know she has to but i was really scared about her going) she said georgia is going to fit in just nicely to 'there happy little family' She also said they take the kids swimming once a week and horse riding once a week. So fingers crossed its all good from here. im so happy with it all
