Hope u don't think I'm being really forward, but why don't u ask to be referred to the speech therapist. Quinn has just turned 2 and was very severally tongue tied when born. Luckily the medics were of the same opinion as me and snipped it when he was about two weeks old. He still isn't talking, just making all the noises and his feeding is a nightmare - he can manage Twiglets but not Weetabix!!! Asked for him to be referred to the speech therapist and she came out to see OisÃn and Quinn. She was pleased with Ozzy and has made a further appt for Quinn to see if we can work out what the problem is. Breige

Hope u don't think I'm being really forward, but why don't u ask to be referred to the speech therapist. She is involved with the SALT anyway. Just hoping something clicks at some point. ATM there seems to be no effort to say anything definate. Hopefully as Tara gets bigger it might encourage her more (Her baby sister is nearly 1)

Daniel is now starting to say a few words, but its only in the last couple of months that he wants to copy words - he often just does the first sound. He can say bye, car, book, ball, dada, dandad (grandad) nana, muma (sometimes!). He also has his own words for things, but they are the same sound every time - iggle piggle, yoghurt and his friend Henry is always 'hooraah'. Other than that he still just babbles and has recently discovered shouting... great!
