georgias special needs nursery head teacher sent me a letter home today asking if i could pop in to discuss georgias other mainstreem nursery. i gave jo (the head) a quick ring and she said she was worried about georgia as shes not herself at there school anymore shes clingy and cries alot which isnt like her cuz she loves it there. she said we should cut her sessions at her other school 2 three a week. when i told her they had done she went mental and said they shouldnt of without telling them. they dont seem to know what they should be doing with her so we have 3 options now 1. put her in a mainstreem private nursery and see if social services will pay for her plus she would get 1 on 1 from crossroads 2. see if the special unit at the school will take her for a few sessions 3. either the head teacher or georgias key-worker go up to the school and see what they do with her and then advise on what they should do with her etc so at the moment my head is mashed! im really stressed out and worrying bout what 2 do

aww nikki wot a nightmare but i'm sure you will make the right decision for georgia, but how rude of them to cut her sessions without any discussions. we have a voucher scheme over here (dont know if everyone has it)where you can choose whichever nursery you like private or otherwise and they entitle you to 5 x2 and a half hour weekly sessions it's run by the government i think so you should enquire about it then you would't have to try and get social services to pay Good luck whatever you decide hun love shell, charlie and jasmin xxxxxxx

all sorted georgias head teacher from her special needs nursery just phoned me and said shes had a meeting with the head of the other school about developmental scales she has sent georgias targets for the next year up 2 the nursery and is sending georgias keyworker up to show them how to work with georgia because they dont have any experience working with kids with developmental delay. im so relieved its sorted now we can lower her sessions to 2 a week if shes still finding it hard goin so fingers crossed it'll b good from here on in
