i have registered with them and i think that they do give you a bit more info as a member, they send you out a magazine called 'the journal' a copy of 'down 2 earth' which is written by people with downs for people with downs and other information. i recieved a leter this mornin telling me about a conference which is in newport (a bit far 4 me!!)
The DSA is worth belonging to, they can do anything for you from help to legal bits I work very closly with the gang in headoffice and they are a great team that also have children with Downs or brothers or sister so theyDO no what they are talking about. You can ring them and almost ask for anything from them. Give them ago it's free to parents but you can give a donation it does help them.
