Hope it all goes ahead ok for you x
Can I be nosey and ask where Brodie will have his op? Harrison had to have an op on both hands when he was about 18 months, his was at East Grinstead.

what op did Harrison have - is it the same as Brodie? Is it a DS thing that I don't know about or just something unrelated? Good luck to Brodie anyway - any op would make me nervous but kids bounce back from these things in no time don't they!

Harrison had 2 fingers joined on each hand - but not any more! Those doctors are darn clever! They took a skin graft from each arm and used that. When Harry was in hospital the doctor told us that it wasn't anything to do with him having ds, but then a friend of mine said she knew someone with ds who had exactly the same thing! Seems like a huge coincidence, but who knows. He's doing fine now, just another thing for him to overcome but he hasn't let him hold him back Sending all the best to Brodie from Harrison too x x

Brodie will be having his op at Frenchay hospital in Bristol. We were told it has nothing to do with him having ds and apparently it's quite common to have extra fingers and toes! They also said it's often herreditary so we'll have to wait and see if the babies have any extra bits! lol x x
