Anybody else seeing a specialist registrar instead of a paediatrician.
Cameron hasn't seen a paediatrician since he was 5 months old, he sees this specialist registrar who to be honest is a bit of an airhead, on her last report she put Cameron walked unaided!!!!!!! I wish!
I tried to get him transferred to another paediatrician nearer his nursery but they refused as it was NHS Lanarkshire and I fall under NHS Glasgow.
I don't know where to turn to but do feel he should be seeing a paediatrician.
Any help will be greatly appreciated as we've got another appointment with Miss Airhead on the 10th.

No sorry not heard of anyone seeing a specialist registrar instead of a paed before. Could your gp refer you to one or your hv? Tbh I don't really feel that our paed really does anything for george at the mo apart from originally setting up his routine appointments. All she seems to do is ask me what he is doing, weighs him and checks him over. There's always been 3 people to do this for some reason, then thats it for 6 months. Sorry I can't be of any help x

Caleb sees a specialist Paediatric registra - He's a bit of an airhead too and I don't like him much. He said he'd never seen a baby with downs doing as well as caleb and then in the next sentence said he was doing just as was to be expected... (rolls eyes and huffs)
