I dont blame you one bit, I would feel exactly the same, I would just tell them to stick the purple ones where the sun dont shine and source a pair of black ones on line. After all you are paying for them arent you !!!

I understand too, Leo is on the waiting list to see the orthoptist and I am dreading it, the shoes are so not my cup of T and I know there just shoes but... some of them look fine but you can bet your bottom dollar that the ones he gets will be horrid! And I know they are good for him yada yada, and things could be much worse, but can't help the way I feel and if we can't have a rant on here theres no hope is there!
They had no right to talk to you like that and she should not have spoken to the supplier on the phone like that either. And you should have been told when the shoes were ordered that they would be purple, so why were they in the catalogue I agree. 2 sizes too big, room to grow, that doesn't sound right at all!! You should question them about that and maybe ask at your local clarks shop if thats good for their feet.
Sorry touched a nerve there I think...

OMG I can't believe how much trouble you are having with getting your kids shoes. Its terrible, you wouldn't have to wait months for shoes from Clark's so why should our kids be any different. It sounds like some people don't give a damn and are definately in the wrong jobs. I totally understand about not wanting 'purple' ones, I wouldn't want purple either. Why do they take so long? are they made to order? if so then they should be available in any colour. I think its touched on a nerve with all of us and we all agree with whats been said. Good luck with getting the ones you want xx

Ah thats terrible. A little girl at the cdc we go to had new shoes (think they were Pedro boots?) and her mum said the same about her, she was just dragging her feet when she had them on as I think they were quite heavy. She is doing much better in them now though - but they're probably not 2 sizes too big!! Hope you all get sorted soon xx

danny is having problems with his boots too, they are absolutely huge the physio said they are like clown boots she took them away and they stuck foam on the tongue to stop his foot slipping around and said he has only to wear them whilst in his standing frame which does not really help alot but not much i can do i have been to clarks and bought him some shoes from there

OMG thats terrible, I can't believe that they think its acceptable to treat kids like this. I'm sure they wouldn't be happy if their kids had shoes too big for them and had to put a peice of foam in to stop their feet slipping. Don't blame you for getting Danny some from Clarks, think I'd do the same x

Lucy got her first Piedro boots last September. She's just been fitted for the next ones and she's still in the same size!!! Don't tell me her feet haven't grown for 8 months. It seems they only go down to a certain size and if the kids are smaller then they have to take what they can get. I'm off to get some from Clarks for her hols so she looks pretty for the meet at Chester.
