;D We had the Care planning Child deveopment team meetingy thingy (can't remember what it's actually called) this morning where all the therapists gave reports and we all sat in a circle and Caleb sat in the middle grinning and playing. They all said he is doing great and that all we have to do is go along to the special needs Mum and Tot group so they can keep an eye on him. No other appointments! They asked if I wanted Portage - "not that he needs it particularly but you are entitled" as the Dr said so hopefully we'll get that. Oh and there is no point applying for DLA because they only give it out before 2 if there are health issues/cardiac issues. So I feel abit more "sorted" about it all now and know where I am with it (for now) Caleb is shattered by all the attention and is asleep! Bless!

Sound like it went really well, you must be very proud of your little man. I've found portage really helpful for Harrison so hopefully you'll get that sorted too

Great news, remember to take everything your entitled to, its easier to get out than get in.

Brilliant news Hunni No harm in trying for DLA though hunni. It all depends on how you fill in the forms at the end of the day. Its good Caleb is doing so well, but would be a shame if you were missing out on something you were entitled to.

Oh I'm all up for free stuff but I think I'll leave it a while as I know there are lots of babies locally who do need it more. Soon though!
